Miss Korea 2013 Contestants Before and After Surgery

There is a snapshot of compilation showing all of 20 contestants of Miss Korea 2013beauty pageant has gone viral on Reddit, mostly for their remarkably similar facial features.
floating around out there, where they're photographed as a group without the stage makeup, professionally done hair, or (almost certainly) photoshop. And while they all fit into the same vague standard of beauty, anyone with eyes could tell each of them apart, and they look nothing like their official headshots.

Recently, there is a debate on plastic surgery from the post on Reddit titled "Korea's plastic surgery mayhem is finally converging on the same face. Here are the miss Korea 2013 contestants."

Complaints from the public wonder why all the participants seem to look like clones, thanks to the country and many others, need for a projected image of beauty with little room for new looks. All contestants pictured seem to have dark hair, pale skin, big eyes and thin noses with pointy chins. However, some suggest that plastic surgery may not explain why all these women look so similar.

Perhaps a bit of Photoshop magic is involved, as well. The growing obsession with plastic surgery in South Korea is once again under media scrutiny after pictures of a group of Miss Korea 2013 contestants posted online prompted claims that the Asian country's craze for cosmetic procedures have left all the aspiring beauty queens looking like clones.

Why is it that when white beauty queens cake themselves in makeup, spend hours primping to not a hair or panty line is out of place, and hire professional retouchers to make themselves look like Barbie dolls in photos, it's just run of the mill superficiality, and just how pageants are done, but when South Korean women do literally the exact same thing, it's an "epidemic" of plastic surgery (do we know if any of these women have even had plastic surgery, and if so, how many and how much? No) and the Asian girls trying to look white.

I'm not sure if anyone has touched on this yet: i recently listened to a podcast of "this American life", where an American English teacher learned that many of the Korean high school girls get plastic surgery as part of their preparation for college admittance. Korean girls send headshots along with their college applications, and according to them, you will not be accepted if you are not considered "pretty" enough. when the teacher asked what procedures were most popular, they referred to the westernized perception of beauty- fattier eyelids, chiseled jaw and cheek bones, breast implants, etc. it's apparently more accepted, almost expected, than it is here in the US.

Miss Philippines 2013 Gold Winners Presented Ariella Arida!

Binibining Pilipinas Gold presented its newly proclaimed winners at the Gateway Cineplex more than a week after a magnificent coronation night staged at the Smart Araneta Coliseum which was made even more meaningful with the special appearance of almost 70 former Binibining Pilipinas beauty queens. The Bb. Pilipinas Gold souvenir program is available now and it will soon be available nationwide. Please come and visit the Bb. Pilipinas Gold exhibit at Gateway Mall It runs until May 4.

Congratulations to Ariella Arida for being the Miss Universe Philippines 2013! Very down to earth personality! I saw on her face, She deserve the crown! Apart from bagging the Miss Universe Philippines title, Ariella also won the Best in Swimsuit award. Ariella will be one of the candidates in the 62nd edition of the Miss Universe pageant this year. Miss Universe is one of the biggest and most prestigious beauty pageants held annually.
Congratulations to Bea Rose Santiago for being the Bb. Pilipinas - International 2013! I don't know but for me in all pictures. Bea Santiago really stands out from these 5 ladies she has that queenly aura! she has that "expensive look of a lady" She cried backstage because the past Bb. Pilipinas winners were cheering for her!!!! doesn't she look amazing? wow! we will surely get a crown for international pageants this 2013!

Congratulations to Joanna Cindy Miranda for being the Bb. Pilipinas - Toursim 2013! She doesn't look so good wearing too much make-up just saying. God bless,Cindy! She is my kababayan from Nueva Ecija, I'm so proud of her. Cindy you are really beautiful, please make our country proud Congrats!!

Congratulations to Mutya Johanna Datul for being the Bb. Pilipinas - Supranational 2013! No doubt you really represent what Filipina is and what Filipina possessed. I hope they let her compete again for Miss Philippines Universe beacause I think she deserves the title in the future...I'm glad about Ara's win but in the future, I think we should have her represent us for Miss Universe Cruz she's a bombshell yet down to earth and innocent!

From the award given Miss Fit and sexy. Why didn't she got the title best in swimsuit? Seeing this body make sense. I think shes got better body than the winner. Hope Pia will represent Philippines in the pageant Miss Asia Pacific International, Miss Humanity International, Miss Italia nel Mondo Top Model of the World International Model of The Year on this year! Next year Pia try join Bb. Pilipinas, Miss World Philippines, Miss Earth Philippines.. I hope she will join again next year, I watched their interview in ANC and she really amazing ,The way she speak and project would definitely define a beauty queen!..my bet for Miss Philippines 2014

Shakira Won Three Awards at Billboard Latin Music Awards!

During a year in which few females ruled the charts, veteran Sony artist Shakira won three awards at last night's Billboard Latin Music Awards! She picked up Song Artist of the Year Female, Social Artist of the Year and Latin Pop Song Artist of the Year!  so now Shakira have 25 Billboard Latin Music Awards

Finalists and eventual winners of the Billboard Latin Music Awards were determined by radio and sales chart performance and social and streaming activity as chronicled in Billboard magazine, billboard.com and billboard.biz during the eligibility period. Someone has checked that Shakira is the most mentioned here? She's has the most experience, talented, and intelligence and she's so cute and sweet.

Shakira managed to win Social Artist of the Year, Songs Female Artist of the Year as well as Latin Pop Songs Solo Artist of the Year, despite having faced stiff competition from Pitbull, Jennifer Lopez, the late Jenni Rivera, and Enrique Iglesias. Shakira's performance marks a change in the way Billboard's year-end charts measure success. Naruto 629 Cosplay - No Naruto Manga 629 This Week!

Because of Obon, national holiday in Japan, There will be no Naruto 629 manga this week. Just read my naruto 629 spoiler and prediction with cute cosplay from naruto anime girls. Awesome naruto chapter 629, Either Kakashi or Obito is not coming out of the kamui dimension. I expect a little more background from them but then that is going to end.

Didn't any of the Alliance see Madara's face? Because if I had seen that face, I've would have run for the hills. And it's so nice to see Kishi give Sakura a few panels, not doing nothing of course because clearly a woman can't do anything, but nice nonetheless. Anyway, the Juubi's armageddon technique is pretty awesome and kind of makes up for the lameness. Obito leaving the field so no more redundant argument was also awesome.

This chapter was rather disappointing. Two weeks ago we left off thinking that today would be some big "double issue" hit with the 4 Hokages... but no.. Kishi has trolled us at its highest level of trolling... After 5 or so pages of Naruto's reoccurring "Talk No Jutsu" it just got flat out boring. (I have to agree though, Madara's face was pretty awesome as well as the Ten Tail's jutsu, but thats pretty much it) In fact this chapter was exactly like the one including Neji's death.


Neji died and Naruto was unsure of himself (In this case he gave out too much chakra at once), Obito makes some smart ass comment, and Naruto talk no jutsus the rest of it as well as some "exciting twist" at the end of the chapter. Not to mention did we ever find out what happened to Lee? He kicked Madara in half the last time we saw the battlefield... Also as quoted by Kakashi "Ill make the Juubi disappear this time!"... that has got to be the cheesiest line i have seen come out of his mouth ever... Alright. Done ranting. Hopefully next week will be better.

Madara is a sensor now that he has the rinnegan? During the Kabuto fight Itachi said that Nagato helped him track down the source of the edo tensei so Madara should have those same abilities. With Kakashi and Obito fighting it out in the kamui dimension does that mean we're going to see bits of Obito's body appear and disappear on the battlefield as he lets attacks slip through him?

Which is why it's so weird, unless Hashirama's cells in Madara is the reason why he can detect Hashirama. Not sure if Madara is a true sensor or if it's just Hashirama, but it's weird either way he's the only one able to sense. But sensors apparently need to use their ability actively otherwise they can't sense, and I'm guessing the enemies make it hard for them to bother sensing. Nor do they really need to sense since all their enemies are in front of 'em.

I can't wait naruto 629 chapter next week until Madara shows off Sage Mode. Tenjuu or whatever animal the Uchiha are represented by.

Fairy Tail 329 Cosplay - No Fairy Tail Manga 329 This Week!

Because of Obon, national holiday in Japan, There will be no Fairy Tail 329 manga this week. Just read my fairy tail 329 spoiler and prediction with cute cosplay from one piece anime girls. Awesome fairy tail chapter 329, I love the end with Natsu just showing himself to future Rogue.

I think that Iggy and any other dragons he is allied with might come and help out, you guys saw how the other wizards had no effect on the dragons (not sure what damage present Rogue, Sting or Gajeel did to the dragons if any) so they need some help to deal with the 7 dragons simple as that.

Anyway if 7 dragons appeared and there's 6 DS around, I'm thinking that Natsu will eat Atlas Flame somehow then each DS will beat a Dragon. Or Igneel, Metalicana and Grandine come back, each beat a dragon (Zilconis vs Igneel) then their DS beat the remaining. Can't really make a proper theory in battles, this is all just wishfull thinking

Now the other interesting thing is Jellal, where has he gone with Dronbalt and Lahar from the magic council? I wonder what sort of plan and impact they will have, I assume they are not sitting around and watching. Really curious about future Rogue's story now.


I think Cana may get her chance finally with fairy glitter, and Mavis being there..somewhere I think. Though maybe the eclipse sent her away, maybe thats even part of a greater relationship. But I expect porlyusica to appear to guide Wendy, and Milky Way could very well be a power for bringing a dragon to its senses as well. She is the status remover afterall. Maybe the good dragons are in Skyadrums shadow realm and thats why Igneel was looking for him, so they could go back...fun chapter

I sure hope Rogue doesn't suicide in order to prevent himself for becoming such a monster. Also, I hope Zircanis is spared somehow. The only reason I started reading fairy tail was because I love dragons, I read it because the dragons were not hunted/killed. It started being bitter but interesting for me to know sting and rogue killed their parents, but seeing them actually fighting dragons and them not being acknolodgia makes me to sad @n@

I can think of at least 3 possible outcomes from this chapter, but I really am let down that we will actually witness a few dragons' deaths. I am totally not prepared for this
Lucy and Yukino uniting their Zodiac Keys was a real awesome sight to see. That led to only 7 Dragons instead of 10,000 Dragons. I would have loved to see 10,000 Dragons, but 7 is perfect. For one, it continues the 777 Trend, and the other reason is the fact that there are 6 Guilds and 6 Dragons (the other Dragon is with F-Rogue). Can't wait for fairy tail 329 manga next week.
