Shakira Won Three Awards at Billboard Latin Music Awards!

During a year in which few females ruled the charts, veteran Sony artist Shakira won three awards at last night's Billboard Latin Music Awards! She picked up Song Artist of the Year Female, Social Artist of the Year and Latin Pop Song Artist of the Year!  so now Shakira have 25 Billboard Latin Music Awards

Finalists and eventual winners of the Billboard Latin Music Awards were determined by radio and sales chart performance and social and streaming activity as chronicled in Billboard magazine, billboard.com and billboard.biz during the eligibility period. Someone has checked that Shakira is the most mentioned here? She's has the most experience, talented, and intelligence and she's so cute and sweet.

Shakira managed to win Social Artist of the Year, Songs Female Artist of the Year as well as Latin Pop Songs Solo Artist of the Year, despite having faced stiff competition from Pitbull, Jennifer Lopez, the late Jenni Rivera, and Enrique Iglesias. Shakira's performance marks a change in the way Billboard's year-end charts measure success. For the first time, Latin rankings include general top artist categories determined not only by album sales and radio airplay, but also by boxscore touring revenue, track downloads, Social 50 chart activity, sales and streaming data.

Picking up Grammys is like second nature for Shakira, as she straddles both mainstream and Latin music.
The Colombian superstar is one of the best crossover artists in today’s music industry, having won numerous awards at both the Latin and American Grammys.
